Welcome to MOKA Mobile Bartenders!

My bartending journey began at 13 years old in a small village in the Spanish countryside. I started helping out at a local restaurant where my older brother had worked. One memorable day, the owner asked me to serve two local police officers a couple of beers — even though I was technically too young to pour drinks. I like to say I’ve been bartending since then!

Five years later, back in the UK where I’m originally from, I truly began my bartending career at The Royal Seven Stars hotel. What excited me most wasn’t just mixing drinks, but meeting people from all walks of life, learning their favorite drinks, and entertaining with my personality.

This passion took me around the world — from beach clubs in Ibiza and Malaga, to a club in Australia, and finally to Key West in the US. Bartending in America was a whole new experience, and I spent six years honing my craft there. It was also where I met my husband, a Virginia native. In 2024, we left island life behind and moved to Virginia to embrace the next chapter of our lives.

Now, one year later, with our first home, our baby girl Olivia, and our dog Abba, we launched MOKA — a mobile bartending business named after our family: Matthew, Olivia, Katie, and Abba.

Coffee and cocktails have always brought me joy, especially espresso martinis, which quickly became my signature drink. Hosting and entertaining friends inspired me to create a service that brings that same joy to your special events.
